Bon Iver - Live at 89.3 The Current

I was driving around downtown Minneapolis waiting to pick up a friend when Eau Claire native, Bon Iver’s stunning and humble interview came on The Current. There was something almost spiritual about the juxtaposition of being surrounded by big glass buildings and Iver’s melancholic words about escaping to the Wisconsin wilderness to find himself and accidentally writing these songs. All I can say is wow! I’m kicking myself for not getting tickets to last week’s Turf Club show. Oh well, next time.
