The greatest bar band in America today, the Hold Steady, have announced a series of headlining dates this summer to coincide with the release of Stay Positive, their 4th long player. The tour will include stops at the Pitchfork Festival, The School of Rock Festival, and The Capitol Hill Block Party.

Here is what Craig Finn had to say about Stay Positive to Alternative Press: “A great American philosopher named D. Boon once said ‘Our band could be your life.’ I think that is true. But ‘Your Life could be Our Band’ is also a true statement. I know this because we have lived it. These are our lives. These are your lives. This is our fourth record. Stay positive.”

Stay Positive will find its way onto your turntables July 15 by way of Vagrant Records.
