Holy crap kids! This just made my year. Carbon/Silicon, the musical project from ex-Clash guitarist Mick Jones and ex-Generation X guitarist Tony James just announced their plans for this fall. After a few appearances at SXSW, they will embark on a 2 week U.S. tour including a stop in our fair city.
Their newest proper album, The Last Post, was one of the permanent residents in my little used CD player last year. Definitely in my top five records of the year. If you’ve never heard them before do yourself a favor and go HERE to download their previous albums for free. After that I will see you all March 30th at The Varsity. I will be the drunk 28-year-old stage right that is geeking out like a 16-year-old at his first concert.
