The Emergency Room is the solo project from Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio, and it’s fucking really good. After the disappointment that is the new Trio record I’m thinking Danny should just make The Emergency Room his main project. Ya remember how Matt Skiba’s split with Kevin Seconds just sounded like acoustic Trio demos? Kind of a bummer, right? Well this is exactly the opposite. It sounds nothing like Alkaline Trio. It’s more like early acoustic Leonard Cohen type stuff. I dig it. You should too.
