Hot damn! Bring some extra money to the Doomtree Blowout 3 on Friday, December 14th at First Avenue because there will be not one, but two new Doomtree records available to buy.

The first is the False Hopes debut from DJ Paper Tiger. It will include seven instrumentals and an eigth track featuring Dessa. You can preview some of new material on Paper Tiger’s MySpace page.

While we wait for the official Doomtree crew record to drop the hip-hop collective is releasing Doomtree: False Hopes, “a train wreck’s worth of outtakes and tidbits and remixes.”

I was hoping the new Mictlan record and an expanded version of Cecil Otter’s Rebel Yellow would also be out this year, but I guess 2008 will be the big year for new Doomtree material.
