Once again, I claim Steven Soderbergh as America’s greatest director. Why this time? Because he just went and shot a film without telling anyone.

It appears that while directing a play in Australia, Soderbergh must have gotten bored one day and shot a mostly improvised film whose plot is currently under wraps. Presumably, this will fall into the six-picture deal Soderbergh made with Magnolia which has already resulted in The Girlfriend Experience and the no-budget masterpiece Bubble.

This mystery film joins the action thriller Knock Out and Spaulding Gray documentary And Everything is Going Fine as Soderbergh works to be released this year.
