New Mitch Hedberg Album Due This Year

Mitch Hedberg’s widow, Lynne Shawcroft, recently spoke to punchlinemagazine.com about a new CD to be released this year featuring unreleased Hedberg material. Said Shawcroft: “The audio for the album was taken from a weekend of shows three months before Mitch died. He wasn’t recording these sets for release so there’s mistakes in there. But I like that. Mitch was at the point where he was doing new and old material, so we’re going through it now trying to pick out the new stuff. I want it to be a new material CD— not a best of. It’s hard to be the person who has to speak for Mitch, but I’m really excited.”
Awesome. Can’t wait for this.
