MORE THAN A WITNESS serves as archival website that intends to document the rich history of punk rock & hardcore bootleg, demo, and otherwise unavailable material. The goal of this blog is to preserve historic recordings.

Quite simply, More Than A Witness, is an 80’s punk rock fans wet dream. It’s packed with tons of great live shows (most of them soundboards) from the early to mid 80’s featuring some of punk and hardcore’s pioneers.

My personal favorites at the moment are THIS Buzzcocks recording from The Roxy in London from 1977 and THIS great Dead Boys gig from the Longhorn right here in Minnepolis in 1980.
