Doors Documentary in the Works

To mark the 41st (?) anniversary of the Doors’ classic self-titled album, a documentary is currently in the works that may be out by year’s end.
“I saw the first cut of it yesterday, and it’s looking real good. But that won’t be out ’til another six months,” Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek told Hollywood Reporter. Manzarek confirmed that there will be plenty of rare footage, and also stated that, “This is the anti-Oliver Stone. This will be the true story of the Doors.”
I’m sure. Manzarek also mentioned that he’s working on a movie script based on “L.A. Woman,” since Hollywood really needs to start making films based on songs.
