Bill Cosby Working on Hip-Hop Album

Yup.. that’s right. Bill Cosby. Apparently, the once funny comedian is working on a profanity free “issue oriented” rap album. According to allhiphop.com “the actor, comedian and philanthropist will address issues like proper parenting, teen pregnancy, drug abuse, Black-on-Black crime and the dropout rate in America’s high schools.”
Wow. That sounds like it could be the best hip-hop record since Macho Man Randy Savage’s. There has been no word if he will be collaborating with actual rappers or just doing this on his own. Titled State of Emergency, the record will be Cosby’s 35th since 1963. No release date or other information has been released.
I wish I could say I’m looking forward to this since I’m a big fan of his early stand up work but sadly, I’m quite certain this will be absolutely terrible.
