Switchblade Comb

Switchblade Comb has never been a place for literary news, but when it involves the single funniest site on the internet, I can’t pass this up.

For Garfield’s 30th anniversary, Ballantine Books is publishing a Garfield Minus Garfield collection which will feature both the original and Dan Walsh’s doctored comic strips for comparison. If you’re oblivious to what Garfield Minus Garfield is, it runs on the premise of removing Garfield from his own comics, leaving an existential atmosphere of loneliness and despair for a quite schizophrenic Jon Arbuckle.
