As the bio says So THIS is what happens when you lock Tony (Municipal Waste) and Sam, Richard, and Alex (New Mexican Disaster Squad) in a cement mixer! No Friends is a throwback to good old fashioned hardcore. Not the shitty NY straight edge style either, we’re talking the kick ass 7 Seconds, Youth Brigade, Dag Nasty style hardcore. It’s aggressive with just enough melody to attract pop punk fans and by clocking in at just over 19 minutes you never get sick of any of the songs.

There’s not much more to say than that. If you like so-cal style hardcore then you’ll most likely like this. I highly recommend checking them out live but due to the never ending touring schedule of Municipal Waste and the drummer also playing in Gatorface and None More Black in addition to New Mexican Disaster Squad, chances are slim you’ll catch them outside of the Virginia / Florida area.

Kudos to No Idea on another kick ass release.
