With a pedigree that boasts members of Chicago’s The Copyrights, former MPLS pop punk powerhouse Rivethead, and current powerhouse Off With Their Heads it should come as no surprise to anyone that Dear Landlord may have just released the album of the year. The band doesn’t stray far from the Screeching Weasel with gruff vocals formula of catchy, aggressive pop punk that is currently all the rage but they probably do it better than anyone else. Every song is a fist pumping sing along anthem that is perfect for sitting on the porch this summer with good friends and a 40 oz.
It’s got my vote for album of the year.
Be sure to catch them with the aforementioned OWTH, along with Dillinger Four, The Arrivals, and Superhopper at this year’s D4th of July celebration.

Last Michael Jackson related video. I promise.
Wanna know why Jay-Z is the coolest rapper in the world? Because he puts people like Vincent Gallo and Harvey Keitel in his videos. Also, he talks shit on T-Pain.
