Anyone who watched late-night British comedy on PBS back in the 90s must remember the hilarious and inventive Red Dwarf. Ten years after cancellation, the show is finally returning on Friday, April 10 on the digital TV station Dave in the two-part series Red Dwarf: Back to Earth.
Co-creator Doug Naylor is returning with the original cast for this special, which sees the crew finally return to Earth. In case you’ve never seen the show, it focuses on the last human alive and his friends (an evolved cat, a hologram, and an android) who hang around the mining vessel Red Dwarf three million years in the future.
A Red Dwarf marathon will also be running that whole weekend, and will also feature a ‘no holds barred’ episode without sets, special effects, or autocue, followed by a ‘Making Of’ special.

Jesus christ.
The slight bit of goodwill I’ve recently provided the Watchmen movie has just been thrown out the window with this snippet of the opening (UPDATE: ending?) credits song.
Watchmen starts making comic fans cry on March 6.

Jon Glasers’ hilarious looking show Delocated, which we first mentioned back in March of last year, is finally set to premier February 12 on Adult Swim. That’s less than a month away but for those of us that can’t get enough Glaser Videogum has two exclusive clips to tide us over till then.
For those unaware, the show follows a family who is put in the witness protection program after one of them (Glaser) testifies against the Russian mafia. They move to New York City and as part of the move “Jon” convinces his family to take part in the filming of a reality show. However, in order to to hide their identities they surgically graft voice changing devices to their vocal cords and wear ski masks whenever on camera. Also, Eugene Mirman plays the Russian villain so it’s got that going for it… which is nice.
K’Naan will be at the Varsity Theater on February 11.
From Troubadour; due out March 24.

…bring the one(s) you love to a glorious winter love fest at the Triple Rock Social Club that is the 8th installment of Gastro Non Grata. Featuring artisan beer, local culinary luminaries and rock bands all under one roof…for free!
