Danielson: A Family Movie is playing for one week only on Pitchfork.tv. If you’ve never heard the music of the Danielson Famile this documentary is a great introduction. Sufjan Stevens is in a good chunk of thie film as well.

Another outstanding record from the Doomtree crew. This time from MC Mike Mictlan and producer Lazerbeak. Some of the hottest bangers I’ve heard in years on this local gem. For me the record really came alive when I listened to it while riding the #6 bus from Uptown Minneapolis to Downtown. The nitty-gritty of the city soaked through me like fresh bread in gravy as the bus lurched along and the fire in my belly grew. Thanks again guys for continuing to make such amazing music!
